These are named for Mikhala, who is a real life ray of sunshine. She was originally a work colleague, but quickly became a very dear friend. The timing of her entrance into my life feels almost holy. Without her, I would not have gotten through one of the hardest professional seasons of my life. These sweet trees almost instantly reminded me of her.
