About Custom Orders

 

Are you interested in a hand embroidered custom order for yourself or someone else? You've come to the right spot. Read on!

Custom orders are near and dear to my heart. Y'all have the very best ideas. I love the collaborative effort of bringing your vision to life.

The very first step when you are ready to place a custom order is to check to see if custom order slots are open. This is a new thing to Polished Embroidery, but it's become necessary to streamline all aspects of my art and business. This information is available at the top of the home page of my website.

Are customs open? Cool! Read on. The next step is to contact me to begin the process. You can do that by completing the Contact Form on my website, send me an Instagram DM, or send me an email to: hello@polishedembroidery.com.

A few things to keep in mind as you reach out: depending on the size of the project you have in mind and my current workflow, the entire custom order process from start to finish might take up to several weeks.

When you reach out, please let me know what you have in mind to order, including your ideal time frame for receiving your custom item. I will let you know if that is workable for me, and if not, what might be possible.

In most cases, I will arrange the details of the custom order with you via message. For more elaborate projects or orders with multiple pieces (ie. custom jewelry for a wedding party, etc.) I will request we meet via a free video consultation or discuss by phone for ease of planning and to make sure we are on the same page.

Once we have a mutual understanding of your custom item, I will create & send you a custom listing for the item. It will include a photo of the approved design, a breakdown of the total cost, including any applicable design fees ($5-$25 depending on complexity), and the agreed upon processing time for completion.

When your custom order is complete, I will send you photos for approval. Once you sign off on your custom item, I will ship it out to you 1 one business day.
