The upcycled beauties are made with vintage fabric a lovely woman in my neighborhood gifted to me. Hand stitched with several thread colors and lots of tiny, gorgeous details, they take a lot of time, but are absolutely worth it. An upcycled labor of love.
Cartha is the mother of my best friend from high school. In all of their vintage glory, these remind me of Cartha’s house, which was filled with furniture, fabrics, and textures from the 70s. As I worked on these earrings, I kept being reminded of her home, and I knew they could only be named for her.
Materials: upcycled, vintage fabric, lightweight oak stained oval frame, and hypoallergenic, gold plated stainless steel ear hooks
Live in your season.
This is one of my favorite pieces of wisdom gleaned in recent years. It has ushered me through difficulty and growth. My hope is that this space reflects that wisdom, whether it be the quarterly season on the calendar or the way we are living daily life. Thank you for being along for the ride.
